With over 12 years of dedicated experience in the field of radiologic technology, Abe Najjar, MHA, RT has established an incredible career trajectory marked by expertise, leadership, and a commitment to education.
Abe embarked on his career in an outpatient orthopedic center, catering to the needs of 12 of Brooklyn's top orthopedic surgeons Demonstrating exceptional proficiency, they consistently performed over 100 X-rays daily for a period of five years, showcasing both technical skill and efficiency.
Driven by the desire for continued professional growth, Abe transitioned to a supervisory role at a trauma level 1 hospital, where he assumed the position of Lead Tech Supervisor. During this tenure, Abe successfully obtained a Master's in Healthcare Administration, laying the groundwork for future leadership in the field of radiology.
While excelling in the hospital setting, Abe recognized the importance of cultivating the next generation of radiologic technologists. Identifying an opportunity to contribute to education, he became involved in the creation of a radiography program. In collaboration with Hunter Business School in Long Island, New York, a program was developed in just one year.
Abe was appointed as the Radiography Program Director, a role he has held with distinction. Under their guidance, the program has thrived, celebrating its 7th graduating class in Feb.2024 with a remarkable 100% pass rate in ARRT exams, along with 100% rates of retention and job placement.

This program is comprised of 450 hours of online classes, 630 hours of in-school classes, and 1,000 hours of clinincal externship.
Hunter Business School’s Hybrid Radiologic Technology training program provides the graduate with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to function as a radiologic technologist. The radiologic technologist uses radiation to produce images of various parts of the body to aid in the detection of injury or disease.
This X-ray technologist training program is 2,080 hours in length, built across four semesters, and takes 16 months to complete. It is taught through a combination of synchronous learning (online or distance education that happens in real time with your instructor); traditional, in-class, face-to-face training to successfully learn and complete all required lab skills and other hands-on competencies; and clinical externship required for employment within the medical community.
